MY DEMIJOHNS

Just like my Santos, the demijohns appear in several rooms in my home.  This bejeweled one is in my family room.

 I have another one on the landing in my foyer.

He gets decorated for the holidays.

This is my favorite demi.  I placed it on some stacked books and draped it with vintage rosaries.

BIG BOOKS DECOR

Currently what my granddaughters call my special "Big Books" are in a corner of the dining room.  I always use books as risers and these oversized ones are the best.

These books are new with matching spines and art---just different sizes.

I added the copper ribbon many Christmases ago.  It was too perfect to not use all year round.  

It never left the demijohn.

The top book was created by adding a new spine and cover to a discontinued art book.  The artist buys close outs from publishers and repurposes them.

I've saved the BEST for last.  The bottom book is blank pages.  I've filled the pages with my granddaughters' artwork.  This is some of the artwork they made for my birthday.  The book is filled with all their creations.  Every visit always includes some art additions to "Grandma's Big Book"
