IT'S OCTOBER AND I STILL HAVE GARDEN BLOOMS!

I can't believe how good the garden looks this late in the season.  The house is wrapped in Hydrangeas, Sedum, Russian Sage, Lantana and Vinca.

HYDRANGEA, VINCA,  RUSSIAN SAGE,  LANTANA AND SEDUM WRAP AROUND THE HOUSE

I don't understand it, but the deer haven't decimated the sedum.

Don't miss the bees on the sedum.

The praying mantis is loving the Lantana.

MY AMAZING HYDRANGEA CROP

A frost is on the way so I wanted to get those amazing blooms inside and enjoy them just a bit longer.

I filled a large gathering basket to the brim.

MY AUGUST GARDEN: MY LIMELIGHT HYDRANGEA

This month of August I'm sharing images from my cottage garden.  If you missed the previous garden images, I'll have links to them at the end of this post.

My limelight hydrangea is the star of my August garden.  This image was taken in late afternoon.  I love the effect of the dappled sunlight.

HYDRANGEA AND PEEK OF MY PAGODA

Of course I had to bring some hydrangeas inside.  Here they are in the almost complete kitchen.  I'm waiting on the backsplash, but I did get the upper cabinets this week.

Just want to say that these were taken before the power outage and the heat wave.
I'm so glad to have my power restored.
