SPRING BLOOMS 2022

I think my garden looks best in Spring.

LILAC TOPIARY

I added a chippy iron bench under the lilac.

DO YOU DO PURPLE?

Do you do purple?   I do in my garden.

Purple perennials pop up in my cottage garden in the Spring.

This lilac topiary is relatively new to my garden.  It has a wonderful scent and a soft lavender color.

It's in a small bed outside my screened porch.

I enjoy it when I'm sitting on the porch.

There's more purple in another garden.  My clematis climbs and curves over the garden arch.  This is the garden path to the back yard.

MY LATEST GARDEN ADDITION

Last year I removed a very large cherry laurel from one of the beds near my porch.  I planted a topiary lilac in its place.  It seemed like such a long wait until Spring to see it bloom.  The lilac did not disappoint.  It's gorgeous, and the fragrance is amazing.

MY LILAC TOPIARY

These close-ups really show its beauty.

It peeks around the corner of the garage and can be seen from the front yard.

So pretty when viewed toward the garage too.

LOOKING TOWARD THE BACK YARD

You know how much I love my ferns.  I loved them even more when they layered themselves in front of the lilac.
