A BRIDAL BOUQUET AND BOTANICAL PRINTS

In a few months my lovely daughter will be getting married.  We had just returned from the florist and were admiring her sample bouquet in her recently renovated dining area.

BOUQUET SAMPLE

While we were admiring the bouquet, I thought it would be a good time to share a sneak peek of her updated dining room.  I wrote about this room when she first moved.  Since then she's removed walls, painted cabinets, and added a new floor.  Her cabinets are navy and her draperies are navy and white stripes.  The only item that remained was the wood and metal chandelier and the table.

What I noticed as we were admiring the bouquet from all angles is that those blue and white botanicals we recently added were just what the room needed.  We had been going back and forth about what to put in that space.  The botanicals are the perfect solution.

BLUE AND WHITE BOTANICALS

The botanical prints actually were a set of four.  We were going to hang them two over two but in the end decided that using just three in a row was a better choice.  This next image is a better view of these beautiful prints.

I mentioned that the chandelier was one of the first additions to this space.  It's still a favorite.  Notice how the wood on the chandelier repeats the wood frame on the prints.

THE FAVORITE CHANDELIER

Please check back as Sara and her crazy serial decorator Mom continue with our projects.
