Whenever I change up a mantel for the holidays, I try to use what's already there as a starting point. This mantel already had the MCM gold mirror and the copper hurricanes with preserved boxwood spheres. They directed the color choices. I added a faux Norfolk pine garland, copper ornaments, and a trio of gold tree toppers.
I purchased this faux Norfolk pine garland at
Kirklands. It is so realistic. I used it on my stairway too.

I mixed three jeweled copper tree toppers with the pine garland.

These copper ornaments adorned my holiday tree many years ago.

COPPER ORNAMENTS |
I love these houndstooth hurricanes. Before the holiday decorating began they rested on a stack of books.

All I added to the mirror was a gold beaded garland.

I have many chandeliers in my home. This vintage pagoda pendant light is my favorite. It creates the perfect reflection in the mirror. I found the mirror and the Chinoiserie chandy on a vintage shopping trip with my Mom. It's a very sentimental attachment.
