Ever since I saw the movie, Annie Hall, I knew that Diane Keaton's borrowed-from-the-boyfriend style was how I was meant to dress. Did you know that most of the clothing she wore in the movie came from her own closet?
It wasn't so much the tie that I borrowed, but I loved the idea of the oversized clothing look and always the layering. I think that the closest look to this today is the clothing by Free People.

I adopted swathes of long skirts and baggy pants and I still dress in a layered loose style.
This could be something I'd wear today.
I felt even closer to Annie Hall, AKA Diane Keaton, when I discovered that she loves black and white---my go to colors. She wrote this book.
She also collaborated with Aiden Gray with what else but a black and white lighting line. Of course these oversized pendant lights immediately caught my eye.

The plaid shades were my favorites when I was shopping for the store in Atlanta this January.

I saw black and white in many showrooms. I especially liked these throws, baskets and pillows. I decided to add them to our showroom. Here's a peek at them @ Hygge Co.
How do you dress yourself and your home? Are you a fan of black and white?
I've written about fashion to furniture before. It's not black and white, but my other favorite combo, leopard and green. If you'd like to read that post too, follow this link.
